Schedule and flow
Schedule
Schedule-oriented people view time as a series of events that happen one after another. They organize their time according to detailed schedules, and they value punctuality. They prefer to complete one task before starting the next. They divide tasks up into equal parts and do the same amount of work each day, taking care to finish before the deadline.
Flow
Flow-oriented people perceive events as happening all at once. They tend to multitask, and fit their schedule to the task rather than trying to fit a task into their schedule. They may arrive late for meetings or push later meetings back if one goes over time. They tend to do a lot of the work for a project just before the deadline.
